Progress made clearer: Designing a user-friendly tracker
During user interviews for another project, a few people we interviewed said the same thing: they wanted a better sense of where they were in the process and what was left. We redesigned the quote flow progress bar to make the process more intuitive. The updated design clearly shows which steps have been completed, where the customer is in the quote flow, and what pages remain. We also implemented the ability for users to jump back to completed pages if they need to edit something instead of having to restart the whole quote. It sets expectations and takes some of the guesswork out of the process and helps people stay on track to finish their quote.

MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) error handling
We redesigned the error-handling flow for driver information to improve accuracy, reduce cost, and to make sure policies are rated correctly. When MVR errors are triggered, customers now see clear, standardized messages guiding them to correct their details. We set a limit for repeated attempts to avoid unnecessary expenses. If problems continue, customers are encouraged to contact their Ministry of Transportation as the issue may be due to incorrect records on file.
