Streamlining auto quote experience
We simplified the auto quoting process by changing confusing dual pricing to a single, personalized package view. By introducing a Shift opt-in question early in the flow, we can tailor the product options. We show traditional packages to customers who opt out of usage-based insurance and Shift packages to those who opt in. This reduces customer confusion, streamlines the experience, and allows for future improvements like targeted bundling and product recommendations.
Support section in the app
I designed and launched an in-app support hub featuring several key elements: a FAQs section, a contact form for account and policy inquiries, and an option for users to provide app feedback or report issues.

Showing clear stats about discounts and surcharges to potential customers helps demonstrate that most people actually receive discounts and surcharges are pretty rare. This is a simple way to reassure customers that they are more likely to save than to pay extra.
